GoogleFree! What does that mean? Free from Google. The company that illegally changed the name Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. The company that is a subsidiary of the tech conglomerate Alphabet, Inc.

Google made this unprecedented name change on their Google Maps in direct response to so-called U.S. President Donald Trump's signing of Executive Order 14172 directing the U.S. interior secretary to officially change the name of the gulf from "Gulf of Mexico" to "Gulf of America". As I understand it, the gulf has been known as the Gulf of Mexico since the 1550s, the name "Mexico" being derived from Mexica, the Nahuatl term for the Aztecs.

Its time to fight! No more Google! Boycott Google! You don't need it. Your computers and smart phones don't need it. Delete all things Google from your devices. Google, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.

As reported by the BBC on February 5, 2025, Google is also dropping its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies in response to so-called President Trump's order to end DEI programs.

The time for massive boycott has come! Start with Google, its easy. You can simply Google "how do I delete Google from my devices?" and you will get many hits, many, sad. Deleting all Google apps is safe, and no harm will come to your devices. A really great choice for replacing the Google search engine is DuckDuckGo .

Oh, and don't forget about that now obsolete Android phone!!! Google owns Android, so ditch it for an Apple iPhone. Not my business to endorse Apple, but they fully embrace DEI, they do not donate money to any political action committees (PACs), but they do donate a small amount of money each year to City of Cupertino Schools!
